A Night’s Dreams with Galpão takes a dreamlike, poetic, and essentially theatrical journey based on the collection and research of more than 150 dreams during this pandemic period. Written and directed by Pedro Brício, the production delves into the universe of dreamers, inviting the audience to share in this experience and step into these spaces where theater and audiovisual elements blend. The result is an exercise in great scenic freedom, which poses questions to the audience about how we will dream of the future, whether we are dreaming collectively, whether our dreams have revealed traumas from the period of isolation and the pandemic, and to what extent, artistically, we can expand the dreamer’s own experience.
